Business alarm system
Protection that detects and alerts. Smart, reliable, well-documented.
An attempted break-in at night, and the first question that always springs to mind is the same: who got in, and how can we find out in time? An ageing system, unreliable sensors or repeated false alarms ultimately prove costly, both in terms of penalties and peace of mind.
A modern alarm system detects, deters and verifies. Every intrusion triggers an instant alert, every incident is logged, and every alarm is verified before the emergency services are called out. You are notified wherever you are, and both neighbours and the fire brigade are spared false alarms.
At ICT Vision, an alarm system is more than just detectors and a siren: we design a comprehensive security solution, from vulnerability assessments to 24/7 remote monitoring. Every project follows a rigorous, standardised and documented process, in accordance with Belgian and European standards.
A certified installer: a legal requirement
Not everyone is authorised to install an intruder alarm system. The installer must be certified by the Federal Public Service (FPS) Interior (Act of 2 October 2017, formerly the Tobback Act). ICT Vision meets this requirement. We are also INCERT-certified (technical note T015/2): a voluntary certification, but one required by most insurance companies to validate your cover.
Does my business need an alarm system?
-
“We’ve had break-ins and we don’t know who’s coming onto the premises.”
Perimeter motion detectors, door and window opening sensors, deterrent sirens. Instant alerts to the security control room or directly to the police. 24/7 surveillance without increasing staff numbers.
-
“We’re worried about intruders, but our old system is outdated and unreliable.”
Upgrade to a modern system: wireless or wired detectors, digital/IP control panel, code keypad, smart sirens. Regular testing, preventive maintenance and intelligent detection to eliminate false alarms.
-
“Managers are never on site but need to be alerted 24/7.”
Cloud-connected system with push notifications to mobiles. Real-time alerts on smartphones, access to incident history, remote siren control. Escalation to a professional remote monitoring centre included.
-
“We need to detect a break-in, a fire or a gas leak...”
Multi-risk system incorporating smoke and natural gas detectors, as well as humidity sensors. Thermal cameras to detect intrusions in complete darkness. All risks covered by a single control panel.
-
"We're worried about false alarms and the cost they cause."
Active remote monitoring: an operator verifies the alert before calling the emergency services. Dual detection for reliability, log of false alarms, user training. Fines are eliminated.

Our response process
-
Security audit and assessment
Comprehensive site visit, vulnerability analysis, site plan, identification of critical areas. Assessment of expected footfall (daytime, night-time, weekends). Detailed report with recommendations.
-
Design of the alarm system architecture
Selection of detectors by zone, optimal positioning, choice of control panel based on site size. Technical diagram, layout plan, detailed quotation with options.
-
Selection of remote monitoring and insurance
Coordination with a remote monitoring centre approved by the insurer, verification of compliance with the required EN 50131 standards, monitoring contracts signed prior to installation.
-
Installation and cabling
Fitting of all detectors (wired or wireless), installation of the control panel and keypads, structured cabling where necessary. Sirens positioned in a visible location to act as a deterrent. Testing of each sensor.
-
Configuration and commissioning
Configuration of the control panel (zones, user codes, outputs), simulation of a live alarm, registration of sirens and sensors, validation of escalation procedures to the remote monitoring centre.
-
Certification and training
EN 50131-3 compliance report issued. Staff training on arming and disarming the system, emergency codes and procedures in the event of an alarm. Operational documentation provided.
-
Long-term maintenance and support
Automated monthly system tests, mandatory annual maintenance (back-up battery, sensor calibration), continuous 24/7 monitoring. Priority support hotline.
Why ICT Vision?
- Detailed vulnerability assessment: Site visit, analysis of entry points, assessment of assets to be protected, occupancy schedule. Identification of sensitive areas and specific risks, followed by a risk-adapted system architecture.
- INCERT and EN 50131-certified installation Optimised detector placement, structured cabling, testing of all sensors, control panel configuration. As an INCERT-certified installer, we issue a declaration of conformity recognised by insurers, tailored to your level of risk. Supported by a comprehensive installation report.
- Professional 24/7 remote monitoring: A monitoring centre operating around the clock, trained operators, and escalation procedures. Alert confirmation before emergency services are called, with false alarms kept to a minimum.
- Real-time mobile notifications Instant push alerts, text messages and phone calls. Access to a 365-day incident history. Remote controls (arming, siren, escalation).
- Intelligent multi-criteria detection: A combination of sensors (motion and vibration) to eliminate false alarms. Adjustable thresholds by zone, machine learning to recognise normal behaviour.
- Integration of CCTV and access control Unified alarm, cameras and electric locks. Video recording triggered by an alert, visual verification of the incident, combined traceability.
- Priority maintenance and support: Automated monthly tests, alerts in the event of sensor failure, mandatory annual maintenance. Responsive technical support hotline, service level agreement (SLA) for response times.
- Approved remote monitoring partner Direct connections to Belgian monitoring centres certified by INCERT and recognised by insurers. All-in-one package (equipment, monitoring, support), transparent pricing.
